Looking back at the last 15 weeks of University, I’d have to say Web Design has been one of the more challenging subjects I’ve studied. It certainly pushes me out of my comfort zone as the only website development I have done is at university, I had never studied any IT subjects until last year in Networked Media Production and it didn’t have any where near as much HTML and CSS as what Web production had this semester. I still don’t know a great deal about the individual HTML and CSS elements and would probably struggle to build a site without a little help. As for creating the blog theme, I am still struggling with that but hopefully I’ll get something I’m happy with – done, by the end of the day.
I’d have to say that the tutors for this unit were very good, however it was (during the busier times) sometimes hard to get their attention.
