In case you can’t already tell I’m having some issues getting my website live. I tried using a website called something like 000webhosting.com and I couldn’t do the FTP for whatever reason, I was having issues connecting to their network. The program they use “Filezilla’ is pretty complex on first impressions. I’ve since switched to ueuo.com which is proving to be just as painful, I can get everything up on their server but it all goes pear shaped after that. I would have done this earlier if I had’ve known I could do the file transfers at uni.
And on a side not I’ve been playing around with my blog theme, I ‘ve settled on a colour scheme but I’m having some trouble styling a background image to repeat.

Nice-looking site. Looks like you’ve solved the repeat issue, no? If I’m not mistaken, you’re repeating across the X axis, which I imagine is what you wanted to do?
As for http://FTP... it CAN be complicated, but really it’s just a matter of knowing your username/password, plus the address of the FTP server. Kind of like needing to know a website URL and then being asked for a username/password before you can continue.
Beyond that, once you’re connected, you need to know which folder you’re putting your files into.
One of the tricks is the username thing… sometimes you only need to enter your username, but more often you have to enter it as though it were an email address..
